At Canopy Composers’ Studio, we believe in shared knowledge. For that reason, we host a weekly group seminar included in the price of your lessons, which gives us the opportunity to come together and share the knowledge we accumulate separately in one-on-one sessions.
This is a space in which we can all engage with new ideas, practice the art of listening to music, enjoy interesting conversations, meet guest artists, and share our work.

In our weekly seminar sessions, we host spaces for Canopy Composer spotlights, presentations of guest composers and ensembles, discussions of studio patterns and trends, the ins and outs of contracts and publishing, engaging communities on social media, applying to college or university music programs, supporting health and wellness as artists, and more.
